Specific Skills
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and/or Python
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and microservices architecture
  • Experience with event-driven systems, messaging, and distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of relational & NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Agile and modern SDLC practices
Preferred:
  • Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms
  • AWS SNS/SQS, EventBridge, and other AWS-native services
  • AWS Certifications
Responsible For
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and operate cloud-native microservices on AWS
  • Develop high-quality backend services using Java, Kotlin, and/or Python
  • Build event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka or AWS-native messaging services
  • Design resilient distributed systems with strong observability and fault tolerance
  • Develop API-first integration services and data pipelines
  • Integrate enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Zuora, and NetSuite
  • Drive DevOps best practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
